Brenda Murphy, MA, CTACC, author, lecturer, private coach, and certified NHA specialist, is first and foremost a believer in the redeeming power of relationships and the primacy of family. She is a positive, solutions-oriented specialist in helping parents and educational professionals find relief from "relationship stress" due to challenging behavior. Brenda's graduate educational background is in Psychology and Spiritual Studies (D.Div.). Brenda continues her post-graduate education on the impact of difficult behavior family dynamics and has completed the coursework for a doctorate. Her work has been featured in newspaper articles and will be highlighted in an upcoming book on national success stories of nurtured heart practititioners. She works with clients across the nation.

A dedicated educator and professional coach, Brenda is a part-time adjunct faculty member at a regional college where she teaches psychology to undergraduates. She is also a guest lecturer at The University of Georgia where she teaches postgraduates effective, research-based classroom strategies for children with challenging behavior, especially ADHD. She works extensively with professionals in the community, and has also consulted with Hospital Board Members in other states. She is currently serving as the official patient coach for Spherios Medical Center.

Brenda's first book of organizational hints and tips for those with AD/HD was published in April of 2007. She is currently writing a second book. Brenda is a popular public speaker on parenting and relationship stress topics for parenting groups, professional organizations and faith-based groups. Brenda's passion is to communicate with parents, educators, and other professionals dealing with children about what makes tots-to-teens "tick" and how to interact with them in positive, pro-social, logical ways that encourages cause-and-effect "thinking children."

A grandmother of four, Brenda regularly gets to "practice what she preaches."
